2) Make sure you've included every section that is on the judging rubric on your project board.

3) Students will be sharing their project with their class on January 18, and then 3rd - 5th graders will be moved to the judging area that afternoon.   Judging will happen on Wednesday, January 18 in the morning.   If your child is sick that day, please keep them home.   We will judge all of the projects, even if the student is sick/absent.  It is a great learning experience for the students to get to present their project to the judges, but not required in order to participate or move on to regionals.

4) Reminder- ONLY students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade are eligible to advance to the Austin Energy Science Festival.   We will advance the top students with the highest averaged scores from their judges.  These students will be notified by a paperwork registration packet clipped to their science fair project.
